Foundation Fundraising Gala

Since 2001, the Northumberland Hills Hospital Foundation has brought glamour, elegance, fun and excitement to the west Northumberland community through the presentation of its annual fundraising gala.

The 11th Annual Gala, "Come Together" will take place on Saturday, November 12th, 2011, at 5:30 p.m. at the LIUNA Local 183 Training Centre in Cobourg. This year's theme is inspired by the music and creativity of The Beatles, while embracing the elegance that guests have always come to expect of this important community event.

Guests enjoy the best in food, décor, live music, live and silent auctions and organizers of this year's event promise they won't disappoint. But the Gala is not just about having a good time. It is truly about a community "coming together" for the purpose of helping to purchase top priority medical equipment for its community hospital.

In 2010, the Gala raised $165,000 for the purchase of the high priority equipment for the Northumberland Hills Hospital.

The Gala Cabinet and sub-committees include dedicated volunteers who are working diligently to bring us an outstanding event, while raising much-needed funds for the hospital. Revenue is generated through corporate sponsorships, ticket sales, raffle and the silent and live auctions. This wonderful event involves a tremendous effort on everyone's part and the Foundation is honoured to have their support.
